It is important to recognize this feeling is a normal time - part of life - and important. Sad events and distress occur in everyone’s life, and respond emotionally healthy. But, feeling miserable consistently and without any sense of hope is not normal and should be treated as a serious medical condition. People suffering from depression in different ways. It can often disrupt a person’s daily responsibilities and relationships. Without treatment, the condition can last for months or years and often gets worse. Signs of depression could be mysterious, and often can be confused with the general characteristics of human nature. Symptoms of depression include behavior that is out of balance or features that are not within the range of what is considered normal for that person. These signs are recognized by professionals, but there are many other signs that are often unrecognized and untreated. When we see the signs of depression, what can we do? First, we must accept it. Depression is a problem - a serious problem. Second, we must realize there is no shame associated with depression. Perhaps the shame you can not deal with it, allowing still affect you and your family. Third, realize that you’re not alone. Others struggling with similar issues and concerns. Fourth, seek help when you recognize the symptoms of depression. Pastors, counselors and trained physicians can provide tips that can help solve some problems or life may bring problems.
